Sons of Numenor present new players event The October Surprise on October 27th, 2011 at 10 P.M. EST - Landroval server. This event consists of several small events and celebrates the Halloween season. All you have to do is to wear your best costumes, masks, gear, anything fitting of the strange and wondrous season!
What you can expect:

by the Eriador Music Society - Trick-or-Treat
Walk the stunning paths of Dyrthdal, for tricks or treats - Fireworks
An epic display of light and sound! - Keg Surfing!
Try the epic LOTRO “kegs of doom” and see where you land!
(drink of the four special kegs, and see where they transport you in-game!)
Let us do the driving as our designated “summoners” call you back for another round/region. - Theme Characters

Sons of Numenor will provide summoners to the homesteads including those seeking to "Keg Surf". Look for our open fellowship that night! Trick-or-treat will run from 10:30 p.m. EST until the treats are gone!" Much ale and pipe-weed to be had for all! Fireworks to commence at 11 p.m. EST. All are encouraged to wear as outlandish an outfit as you can manage. Masks, odd-looking gear, etc.
We believe this is going to be a great Halloween event so come out and join Sons of Numenor in your best Halloween costume!
